too many elevens

I was catching up on some NPR backlog today and I heard the All Songs Considered 11/11/11 tribute show:  These Go To 11.  Not all that impressed with their selections, I decided to make my own list.  Eleven days after ASC's show, here's my list of eleven songs I ALWAYS turn up loud.  Please post your list!

She's Hi-Fi (Live) -Trend
School Love -Anvil
I Wanna Be Your Dog -The Stooges
Heater -X
Up Jumped The Devil -Ronnie Dawson
Shot By Both Sides -Magazine
Shakedown -Thee Hypnotics
Romeo -Wipers
No Metal -Monotonix
She Bangs The Drums -The Stone Roses
Hundred Mile High City -Ocean Colour Scene

3-Window '34

I've heard from a few people who thought I was posting pictures of real cars. While one or two might make their way in, this thing is mostly devoted to the pocket sized variety. The vast majority of my collection remains firmly affixed to the cardboard they were originally sold on.

This beauty has been kicking around my closet since 1993. It's a great example of how ridiculous collectors can be. This one is worth around $100 just because it's still on the card. Loose, the very same car is worth a few bucks. There are many boring reasons why this is so but I won't go there. My word count is already high.

84 Pontiac Grand Prix

I like this one a lot. They captured the spirit of this body style in this model better than they did with the Monte Carlo and Grand National. I need to dig out my Mountain Dew Buick stock car for a side by side comparison.

1965 Chevy Impala

I took this about mid-day against the base of a lift station hatch. Wish I could have gotten more of the dust cleaned off.

Ford Mustang Cobra

One of the Corgi castings acquired by Mattel and phased out of the Hot Wheels line almost immediately.

Hare Splitter

Apparently this is based on a 1974 German-market VW Rabbit, identifiable as such by the round headlights. Opening hood and roof-mounted spare wheel are cool.
